SHARES THE INSPIRATION- MAY
Theme for the Month
“Take The Next Step”

My intention for developing the Share the Inspiration Column is to provide thought, hope, encouragement and guidance for those who desire to improve their lives. The wisdom of world leaders, writers, poets and philosophers has often inspired me; and so has the vast knowledge of those who have experienced challenges, opportunities and many of life’s other lessons. I have decided to publish many of these inspirational passages, philosophies and writings from admired or celebrated individuals; sometimes I include quotes from authors that are unknown. I even throw some of my own thoughts and writings into the mix.
If you would like to contribute thoughts or quotes that you have found inspirational, please do.

I realize that none of us will attempt to improve unless there happens to be an underlying motivation,
however, if you want to make your life just a bit better, there may be something here to help motivate, inspire or even keep you on the right track.

Your feedback has been overwhelming and I certainly appreciate all of the kind words… you’ve inspired me!

April of 2016 was the month Share the Inspiration debuted. Appropriately April’s theme was “Getting Started”.
May’s theme is “Take the Next Step”, for all of us who can use just a little push to get or to keep going.

Best to all of you.

I’ll not allow laziness or apathy, inexperience or my fears to impede me from moving forward.

Instead I will simply begin today, right this moment.

There will always be time to look back later!”

“My father, stricken with Parkinson’s, taught me that if I am afraid to walk, if I freeze and my legs and my mind refuse to take the first or the next step, I will likely fall and may not have the courage to continue my journey.

However, if I am willing to stand with self-belief and start by taking deliberate and confident steps, one after another; I will eventually, successfully reach my destination.

He also taught me that if, while taking deliberate steps, I should fall; that I will have the confidence to quickly ascend to my feet and boldly continue my journey until I reach my destination.

Thats how we started in life.
That’s how we learned to walk.

and eventually get the toys, treats and treasures that await you.”
